Abhay Deol is a prominent Indian actor and producer known for his work in Hindi cinema. He is a member of the influential Deol family, being the nephew of veteran actor Dharmendra and cousin to Sunny and Bobby Deol. He made his acting debut in 2005 with the film Socha Na Tha, which was directed by Imtiaz Ali. Deol is widely recognized for his preference for unconventional, independent, and offbeat roles rather than mainstream commercial cinema. His breakthrough performance came in the 2008 film Oye Lucky!
