Adam Noah Levine is an American singer, songwriter, and the lead vocalist of the pop rock band Maroon 5. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, where he formed his first band, Kara's Flowers, in high school. After the band's initial commercial failure, they regrouped and added guitarist James Valentine to become Maroon 5. The band achieved international fame with their debut album Songs About Jane, released in 2002. Levine has since led the band to win three Grammy Awards and sell millions of records worldwide. Beyond his music career, he gained significant mainstream popularity as a coach on the reality television competition show The Voice. He served as a coach for 16 seasons, becoming a staple of the show's success. Levine has also pursued acting, appearing in the television series American Horror Story and the film Begin Again.
