Awkwafina is an American actress, rapper, and comedian born Nora Lum in New York City. She first gained widespread attention in 2012 when her rap song 'My Vag' went viral on YouTube. She subsequently released her debut studio album, Yellow Ranger, in 2014. Her breakout acting roles came in 2018 with supporting parts in the films Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians.
