Bang Chan is a South Korean-Australian singer, rapper, and record producer best known as the leader of the K-pop boy group Stray Kids. He was born in Seoul but moved to Sydney, Australia, at a young age, where he spent most of his childhood. In 2010, he successfully auditioned for JYP Entertainment and moved back to South Korea to begin his training. He spent seven years as a trainee, which is one of the longest training periods in the company's history.
