Donald Faison is an American actor, comedian, and voice actor best known for his role as Dr. Chris Turk on the long-running medical comedy-drama Scrubs. He first gained widespread recognition for his role as Murray Duvall in the 1995 film Clueless and the subsequent television series of the same name. Born in New York City, he attended the Professional Children's School in Manhattan. Faison began his career in the early 1990s, appearing in commercials and minor television roles before his breakout performance in Clueless. Throughout his career, he has appeared in numerous films including Remember the Titans, Big Fat Liar, and Next Day Air. He has also provided voice work for animated series such as Robot Chicken and Star Wars Resistance. In addition to his acting work, he has directed several episodes of television and hosted various podcasts. Faison has been a prominent figure in American television for over three decades. He is known for his comedic timing and his long-standing professional friendship with Scrubs co-star Zach Braff. Together, they host the popular podcast Fake Doctors, Real Friends.
