Kim Nam-joon, known professionally as RM, is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, and record producer. He is the leader of the South Korean boy band BTS. RM debuted as a member of BTS in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment. He has released two solo mixtapes, RM in 2015 and Mono in 2018. In 2022, he released his debut solo studio album, Indigo, followed by his second solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person, in 2024. He is widely recognized for his songwriting and production credits on many of BTS's tracks.
