Patricia Heaton is an American actress and producer best known for her television work. She gained widespread fame for her role as Debra Barone on the long-running sitcom 'Everybody Loves Raymond'. For this performance, she won two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. Following that success, she starred as Frankie Heck on the ABC sitcom 'The Middle'. She has also appeared in various films including 'Beethoven' and 'Space Jam'. Heaton is a graduate of Ohio State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in drama. She later moved to New York City to study under drama teacher William Esper. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her comedic timing and relatable portrayals of suburban mothers.
