Sanjay Dutt is a prominent Indian film actor and producer who works primarily in Hindi cinema. He is the son of legendary actors Sunil Dutt and Nargis. He made his acting debut in the 1981 film Rocky, which was a commercial success. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, he established himself as a leading action star in Bollywood. His performance in the 1991 film Saajan earned him his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor.
