Sunny Deol is a prominent Indian film actor, director, producer, and politician known for his work in Hindi cinema. He is the elder son of legendary Bollywood actor Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur. He made his acting debut in the 1983 blockbuster film Betaab, which earned him a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Actor. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, he established himself as a major action star with hits like Ghayal, Ghatak, and Border. His performance in Ghayal won him the National Film Award for Best Actor and the Filmfare Award for Best Actor.
