Taran Killam is an American actor and comedian best known for his tenure on Saturday Night Live. He began his career as a child actor with a role in the film Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult. Killam gained early television recognition as a cast member on the sketch comedy show MADtv. In 2010, he joined the cast of Saturday Night Live, where he became known for his versatile impressions. During his six seasons on the show, he portrayed various characters including Jebediah Atkinson and Ashton Kutcher. Beyond sketch comedy, he has appeared in numerous films such as The Heat and 12 Years a Slave. He also starred in the television series Single Parents as Will Cooper. Killam is married to actress Cobie Smulders, with whom he has two children. He made his Broadway debut in 2017, playing King George III in the musical Hamilton.
