He was born on February 4, 1990, in Portland, Oregon, U.S. King is best known for his short videos that utilize digital editing to create the illusion of magic, a style he refers to as 'digital sleight of hand'. He began his online career by posting content on YouTube in 2008, offering tutorials on using the editing software Final Cut Pro. His early viral success included the 'Jedi Kittens' video, which garnered millions of views. King gained significant recognition on Vine in 2013 for his six-second 'magic vines', quickly amassing a large following. Following Vine's discontinuation, he transitioned to TikTok in 2016, where he has since accumulated tens of millions of followers. One of his most famous TikTok videos, 'Zach King's Magic Broomstick', received an estimated 2 billion views. This video was recognized by Guinness World Records as the most-viewed TikTok video.
