Angus Young is a Scottish-born Australian musician best known as the co-founder and lead guitarist of the hard rock band AC/DC. He is widely recognized for his energetic stage presence and his signature schoolboy uniform outfit. Born in Glasgow, he moved to Australia with his family as a child in 1963. He formed AC/DC in 1973 alongside his older brother, Malcolm Young. The band achieved massive international success with albums like 'Highway to Hell' and 'Back in Black'. Young is famous for his distinctive Gibson SG guitar tone and his high-energy performance style. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of AC/DC in 2003.
