Daniel Wu is a prominent American actor, director, and producer who has established a successful career in Hong Kong and international cinema. Born in Berkeley, California, he developed an early interest in martial arts, which later influenced his film career. He graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in architecture before moving to Hong Kong in 1997. His breakthrough came with his debut in the film Bishonen, directed by Yonfan.
