Edin Džeko is a professional Bosnian footballer who plays as a striker for the Turkish club Fenerbahçe. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest Bosnian players of all time and is the all-time top goalscorer for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. Džeko began his professional career at Željezničar before moving to Teplice in the Czech Republic. He gained international prominence during his time at VfL Wolfsburg, where he won the Bundesliga title in the 2008–09 season. In 2011, he joined Manchester City, where he played a pivotal role in winning two Premier League titles. He later moved to Italy, playing for Roma and Inter Milan, where he continued to demonstrate his clinical finishing ability.
