Huening Kai is a prominent member of the South Korean boy band Tomorrow X Together (TXT), formed by Big Hit Music. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and spent a portion of his childhood living in China before moving to South Korea. He is of mixed heritage, with a German-American father and a Korean mother. Huening Kai is widely recognized for his musical versatility, as he is proficient in playing the piano, guitar, and drums. He officially debuted with TXT on March 4, 2019, with the release of their first EP, The Dream Chapter: Star. Within the group, he serves as a vocalist, dancer, and visual, often contributing to the songwriting and production process. He is known for his bright personality and unique vocal tone, which has become a signature element of the group's sound.
