Kimberly Michelle Pate, known professionally as K. Michelle, is an American R&B singer and television personality. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and attended Florida A&M University on a music scholarship. She gained significant mainstream attention after joining the cast of the VH1 reality series Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta in 2012. Her debut studio album, Rebellious Soul, was released in 2013 and reached number two on the Billboard 200 chart.
