Sadio Mané is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr and the Senegal national team. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest African players of all time and one of the best wingers of his generation. Mané began his professional career with French club Metz before transferring to Red Bull Salzburg in 2012. He gained international prominence during his time at Southampton, where he set the record for the fastest Premier League hat-trick. In 2016, he joined Liverpool, where he won the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, and FA Cup. During his tenure at Liverpool, he formed a prolific attacking trio alongside Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino. Mané moved to Bayern Munich in 2022, winning the Bundesliga title in his single season there. He is the all-time top goalscorer for the Senegal national team. He led Senegal to victory in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, where he was named the tournament's best player. Mané is also highly recognized for his extensive philanthropic work in his hometown of Bambali, funding schools and hospitals. He has been awarded the African Footballer of the Year twice, in 2019 and 2022.
