Taron Egerton is a prominent British actor and singer who rose to international fame for his role as Gary 'Eggsy' Unwin in the Kingsman film series. He was born in Birkenhead and later moved to Aberystwyth, Wales, where he spent much of his youth. Egerton graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 2012.
