Diana Ross rose to fame as the lead singer of the vocal group The Supremes during the 1960s. The Supremes became one of the most successful girl groups in history with twelve number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100. She embarked on a successful solo career in 1970 with her self-titled debut album. Her solo hits include iconic tracks such as 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough' and 'Upside Down'. Ross also achieved critical acclaim for her acting role as Billie Holiday in the 1972 film 'Lady Sings the Blues'. She received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for her performance in that film. Throughout her career, she has sold more than 100 million records worldwide.
